Large amounts of energy are consumed at SFS in order to improve the quality of employees’ workplaces (climate, air, space, etc.) in the production premises, workshops and offices.
Savings:
The latest technology* was used in the construction of the new server room. Only some 10% more energy is consumed to store twice the volume of data.
* Freecooling/coldaisle principle
425 MWh were saved in manufacturing operations by taking 15 specific measures.
Business and private traffic are not included in the eco-balance.
