Since driving fork-lift trucks is a particularly hazardous occupation, all new employees using fork-lift trucks at SFS are immediately enrolled for fork-lift driver training if they have not already undergone appropriate training. Our employees have been trained in conformity
with VUV, Art. 6, by an in-house, federally certified fork-lift instructor since 1994.
Depending on the situation, between 30 and 80 people are trained each year in different courses. For the past two years we have also provided half-day refresher courses.
All fork-lift trucks which were not already equipped ex works with restraint systems were retrofitted accordingly in conformity with regulations last year.
