SFS intec AG in Heerbrugg has acquired Lüdi AG in Flawil with effect from
April 26, 2005. The supply of components to the automotive industry is a very important aspect of both companies' business. Their joint market position will be considerably strengthened by this merger.
Lüdi AG in Flawil is mainly engaged in supplying the automotive industry with deep-drawn and cold formed components for applications such as ABS, airbag systems and parking aid sensors.
The company has many years of experience and a high standard of development know-how in both of its production processes.
The company, with a workforce of some 100 employees at its Flawil site, was previously owned by the families of Fritz and Dieter Lüdi.
The production premises have a surface area of 5000 m2, a new building having been completed in 2002.
The different technologies will enable customers to be offered an extensive range of products and services.
Lüdi AG will continue to operate under its existing name from its Flawil site following its acquisition by SFS intec AG.
