A research team at the Royal Stockholm University of Technology, Sweden researched into the risks associated with setting out and fixing flat roof constructions. Their studies pointed out the critical influence of posture on both efficiency and health.
Fixing the fasteners from an ergonomically better upright stance reduced the danger of accidents and increased productivity by 45%. It meant that savings of 30% could be made in fitting roof sealing strips.
