Application:
The self-drilling dowel stack fasteners WS from SFS intec are available in two diameters and a range of lengths. 5 mm diameter fasteners are available from 73 mm to 193 mm, while the 7 mm diameter versions are available from 113 to 233 mm in length. In each case the fasteners should be 7 mm shorter than the thickness of the timber. The fasteners are thus suitable for sections of 80 to 240 mm; or for double-sided use up to a maximum of 480 mm.

System WS is a self-drilling dowel used in constructing multi-layer timber/steel connections. The WS self-drilling dowel, together with the manual setting tool CF WS/M or the frame setting tool CF WS/P and the dimensioning guidelines, are all you need with this revolutionary system.
The dowels are simply inserted through the timber and the steel in a single operation without pre-drilling; saving time and money. Up to three 5 mm steel sheets can be penetrated.
The rear of the wooden surface is not penetrated!
