Innovation in hinge design

Major innovation comes with the way the hinge fixes to the door sash. The fixing plate is shaped to attach to the edge of the door sash either into a routed detail or fixed directly for finishing using an aluminium edge plate. And the hinge is suitable for use with both PVC-U and timber outerframes.

Delivering strong and secure door-sets

Dynamic 2D-F offers the potential for doorsets with excellent strength characteristics. Prototypes have been through indicative testing which show the hinge should have no problem working as part of a PAS-024 Secured by Design standard doorset. The hinge remained intact and operational even after being subjected to forces exceeding 6kN, suggesting a comfortable safety margin for the final production hinges.
