JB-DK adjustable window installation in insulated cavity walling
These days its possible to construct buildings with very high energy efficiency, using modern insulation materials and special windows, and requiring particular products and techniques.
Installation of the windows has to be planned and carried out so as to avoid heat sinks. In cavity walling, the window needs to be installed directly in the insulation layer. Load bearing and fastening can be done with the SFS intec system JB-DK. High tensile runners and brackets take up all loads, and transfer them to the brickwork.
