The recommendations listed below are based on our laboratory tests and empirical findings. In view of the diversity of plastics now available and their different mechanical properties (in dependence of time, temperature and load), it is recommended to optimise the design of the screw tube in trials.
The recommended values should therefore be regarded as guidelines.
