System WB |
|
|
The WB System is the ideal solution for reinforcements perpendicular to the grain in timber engineering.
Technical information: WB-T-16/WB-T-20
| Material: | | carbon steel |
 | | |
| Tensile strength: | | 800 N/mm² |
| Yield strength: | | 640 N/mm² |
 | | |
| Drive: | | headless; insertion sleeve for countersinking |
 | | |
| Surface: | | zinc electroplated, blue passivated, chromium(VI)-free |
 | | |
| Length: | | 3000 mm, individually cut to length |
 | | |
| Diameter: | | outside diameter 16 mm - core diameter 12 mm |
 | | outside diameter 20 mm - core diameter 15 mm |
Application:
for reinforcements perpendicular to the grain in arched and double-pitched roof purlins, at penetrations, notchings and transverse joints.
Savings you can count on:
Saves on storage. Because of the standard length of 3000 mm you need to stock only one item.
Since the threaded bar is headless, it can be cut to exactly the required length with standard tools (metal saw or right-angle grinder)
Cost savings through time saving
The WB System can be countersunk using the special insertion sleeve. Subsequent roof assembly is not obstructed.
Because of the high tensile strength fewer bars are needed. This results in significant time savings.
Easy application without glue
Forces are transmitted solely through the thread indentations - no glue is necessary for reinforcement perpendicular to the grain.
- the time-consuming application of adhesives is eliminated, as is cleaning the tools and waiting for curing.
- The bars can be loaded directly after setting.
- Consistently reliable assembly conditions
- You don't need a licence to make the reinforcements
