Every SFS intec production facility has an in-house test lab for checks on finished product .
The fully accredited labs at the Heerbrugg HQ conform to the Quality Management Standards EN/ISO 17025 and ISO 9001,with the correct procedures for measurements and controls monitored regularly by an external auditor.
The (DAP Berlin) accreditation covers the following points:
- techno-mechanical testing (hardness measurements)
- metallographic analysis (quantitative)
- surface finish and dimensional checks (visual inspection)
- spectroscopic analysis for metals (chemical analysis)
- corrosion-testing (salt spray and other climate tests)
