Blanks are produced by inserting powder into the dies and compressing it.Vertical punches are pressed against one another under high pressure.
The objective is to achieve sufficient blank strength. The grains of powder are mechanically locked together and in part cold welded. The freshly formed part attains its initial strength characteristics.
